SMART Certified Training
Points West Audio Visual believes in not only being an expert in providing the equipment to engage your students or staff, but by providing the training required to operate the equipment. This will maximize the learning outcomes for students, ensure your staff or trainers are utilizing their time wisely, and maximize the value for the dollars spent on technology. It is as simple as contacting our office to arrange a demonstration or training session to your teachers, administration, or board. Options will be discussed to ensure we understand what your requirements are and customize a presentation for your needs.
At Points West Audio Visual, we have 3 SMART Certified Trainers. As our head “SMART” guy, David is Certified as a SMART Technician and Installer, a Certified SMART Trainer for Notebook Software and Response. Should you ever have a question about your SMART Products, call the office and ask to speak with him. He will always try to assist you with troubleshooting over the phone and if a service call is required, he can make those arrangements to assist you in the field. A fee may apply.
Colleen and Tracey are also Certified Trainers for SMART Notebook Software. Colleen is a Certified Education Sales Professional and Tracey is a Certified Business Sales Professional.
Product Supply and Service
At Points West Audio Visual Ltd., we only carry professional audio visual equipment. We represent a variety of products and product lines from SMART Technologies, LifeSize, FrontRow, NEC, DaLite, Extron, and many more. Our goal is to get you the products you need and ensuring we work within your budet contraints. We are product experts (and the authorized dealers) on the lines we carry.
After Sales Support
Questions, problems, connectivity, new hires, lost cables, service manuals, replacement lamps, flashing yellow lights… we’re here. 8am – 4:30pm Monday through Friday. Should you require an evening or weekend appointment, arrangements can be made for a time that is convenient for you.
After purchase or installation, we would be glad to host a training session for your staff. Whether you have purchased a data projector, sound systems and microphones, FrontRow, LifeSize, or any of the SMART Products, training is an important component of having a successful experience using your new equipment.

We feature a SMART Board 885ix, SMART Board S885i5, SMART Board 880i5 on a Height Adjustable Rolling Floor Stand (available for a trial period in your location), SMART Table, Wireless Slate, Document Camera, SMART Response units, SMART Classroom Audio System, and a new wide screen SMART Podium. FrontRow ToGo portable sound system, H.Wilson Carts, Ergotron Carts, and LifeSize Express HD Video Conference System are also available.
Try the different boards, see the different features, and use the equipment in order to make an informed decision. We are also able to bring much of the equipment to your school or office.
